What is Freedom Sunday?

Lesson Summary

The Set Free Movement is a passionate network of leaders, teams, churches, and business partners fighting to reduce human trafficking vulnerabilities in their communities. Our mission is to mobilize faith communities, financial partners, and all segments of society toward ending human trafficking and creating new futures through community-based action. Our focus areas include equipping community members with training, calling on all segments of society to become aware of the dangers of human trafficking, engaging business leaders and financial partners in leading the fight for freedom, and mobilizing local churches through equipping, educating, and mobilizing them.

Over the past year, we have come alongside more than 150 leaders in 15 countries. Our teams have been successful in protecting the vulnerable in many ways, such as:

• coming alongside Ukrainians displaced by the war in Hungary and Bulgaria,
• working with the local government to repatriate dozens of missing and trafficked children in India,
• working within a broken system in the US to bless foster families, children and teens, and social workers through our Fostering Hope program,
• teaching self-defense to safeguard youth against exploitation and abuse in Venango County Pennsylvania,
• equipping youth, parents, teachers, and pastors in the Philippines to stay safe from online sexual exploitation
